Third Grade

In Math, 3rd grade has been working on modeling multiplication and division.  We also are working on patterns with numbers, and subtraction using a variety of diagrams.

 

In ELA, we have been identifying main idea and details. We learned how to analyze a prompt and write an informational paragraph using key ideas and details to support our thoughts.  We continue to focus on using correct capitalization, commas, and punctuation when writing.

 

In Science, we are learning about living and non living things.  We have learned about plant and animal life cycles, what plants depend on to survive, and  have challenged ourselves with learning about photosynthesis.
