The final marking period is already here!   We are beginning Theme 8 "At the Farm" With that theme in mind, we will be traveling to Vale Wood Farms in May.     Students will be given the Dibels test again at the end of the year to mark their progress. Kid Writing is progressing to the independent level. Students should be able to write 3 sentences and stay on topic. We are encouraging them to have a problem in their story.       We now have four word family pages completed for our Technology Project. Everyone's book will be displayed at the Baker Technology Fair on April 15. MATH Our focus for math until the end of the year will be adding and subtracting numbers to 10. This is new for most of the students and should be practiced with some sort of counter until it is mastered.    Circus Kindergarten will be attending the Jaffa Shrine Circus in April. All students will have a dollar to spend on a treat while they watch. I know we will have a lot of fun!   Home
