Mrs. Foor Mrs. Aiken   Welcome Back! Second Grade has got off to a great start. Our Reading themes will include: We Can Do IT, Silly Stories, and Nature Walk. We will be reading and writing stories about all of the above topics. In Math Class, we will concentrate on addition and subtraction facts, place value skills/concepts, and number sense strategies.   Our Earth and Communities [Farm, City, and Suburb] are concepts we will be studying in Social Studies. We will make clay models to show what we learned about landforms and bodies of water on Earth.  In Science, we will study the weather and the solar system. We have been working hard, learning a lot and having fun along the way! Please, continue to read daily and practice your math facts.    Home
