Fantastic Fourth Grade!

Hello! My name is Desiree Weyandt. I am a 4th grade teacher at Baker Elementary. I have previously taught 1st-5th grades, all subject areas. What do I teach...I teach students! We learn about reading, writing, and grammar in my room. I love reading and writing, so I hope that the children learn to love to read and/or write as well! I have previously taught 1st-5th grades, all subject areas. This has helped me see the progression from grade to grade.
 
I was active duty in the United States Navy before becoming a teacher. I have been teaching in the Altoona Area School District since 2009. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Penn State University (Elementary Education). In addition, I have a Maser's Degree from Saint Joseph's University (Special Education).
