Miss Repko
Hello, my name is Miss Repko. I am an Itinerant Autistic Support teacher at Baker and Penn-Lincoln. In Autistic Support sessions we become social skill detectives! Throughout the year we learn a variety of social rules and concepts and have fun talking to each other and learning to work with others. The students can view videos and engage in fun activities to promote social learning. We also work on learning strategies to promote self regulation, controlling emotions and maintaining calm reactions to situations. Finally we work on the skills necessary to build positive relationships with peers and adults. The social world can be difficult to navigate without the right tools. In Autistic Support, we gain those tools and so much more!
